The ParkSide™ Retreat is a 2-bedroom model (pictured above) has roughly a 21.5'x39.5' footprint or 849+- sq ft of living space. All ParkSide™ units have a built in Solar PowerBay™ system option that truly minimizes time on the grid. Dual thermal insulated steel walls and ceilings, 1/2" concrete fiber board sub flooring on a tubular steel frame system is 5 times stronger than plywood. The floor is covered with SPC laminate, the lighting system is all LED, and the full bath resembles what you would expect to find in a resort style suite. The energy efficient windows are all dual thermal pane glass wrapped in a broken bridge aluminum frame. The model shown above is also available as a duplex RV-ADU configuration. ShieldCore™ / Dual Insulated from the Inside Out
The ParkSide™ uses only commercial grade ShieldCore™ vertical steel insulated panels (SIPs) which are comprised of an advanced insulation core (PIR) polyisocyanurate that is formed, sealed and interlocked between two finished steel facings. Then we attach a second ShieldCore™ exterior siding that runs horizontal, these are insulated (PIR) metal side panels when combined form a crossover dual insulated panels. ShieldCore™ provides the most thermally efficient panel grid system available on the market, providing an impenetrable water and vapor seal that protects your investment against extreme weather outside, while maintaining the desired temperature inside.
Commercial Flooring & Sub Floor Structure
The ParkSide™ uses SPC commercial grade flooring overlay panels that come in a variety of looks and finishes which is water resistant, easy to clean and ecofriendly. Rather than using plywood or other wood products beneath as sub flooring, all of our buildings have commercial and industrial grade concrete fiberboard as the subflooring with steel cross beams which create superior strength, durability and resistance to high moisture, fire, pests, low maintenance, and longer lifespan. Concrete fiberboard and steel have superior dimensional stability compared to wood, meaning it is not prone to warping, shrinking, or expanding with changes in temperature and humidity.
Temporary vs. Permanent
The ParkSide™ is unique from the ground up because of the way they are built, allowing the buyer the opportunity to have the building placed as a temporary or permanent structure. Why? UtilityMate® RVADU™ is actually an RV hybrid with a self-contained 30 or 50 amp electrical, water, sewer RV hookups. This allows you to easily plug in and power up regardless of location or power source (such as generators), optional solar PowerBay™ system available . Need something permanent? With the help of a qualified contractor or if you're a one of those DIY individuals, the ParkSide™ can be easily converted into a permanent living structure as a single or duplex housing unit.
